TechFixer is an independent how-to website focused on one simple goal: helping everyday people fix their own tech problems without jargon, without guesswork, and without paying for support they don’t need.
What we publish
Every guide on this site walks through a specific, real-world problem — a Wi-Fi connection that keeps dropping, a phone that suddenly runs slow, a printer that refuses to cooperate. We break each problem down into clear, numbered steps with exact menu paths and settings names, so you always know where to click next.
How we write our guides
- Tested steps. Every fix is verified against current software versions (Windows 11, recent Android and iOS releases, current browser builds) before publication.
- Plain English. We explain what each step does and why, so you’re learning — not just following blindly.
- Honest limits. When a problem is likely hardware-related or needs professional help, we say so instead of sending you in circles.
- Kept current. Guides are reviewed and updated as software changes. Each article shows its last update date.
What we don’t do
We don’t publish sponsored “fixes” that push particular products, we don’t repackage other sites’ content, and we don’t cover topics outside our expertise. If a guide recommends a third-party tool, it’s because it’s genuinely useful — not because anyone paid us to mention it.
